The Student Care Nurse is available to review your health concerns/symptoms during SCC business hours. An SCC Nurse can help you determine whether you should come into the SCC for medical care. The SCC Nurse is also available to assist with prescription refills, facilitate referrals, conduct urine pregnancy tests, and assist with emergency contraception. Note about the SCC nurses

There is a 24-48 hour turnaround time for prescription refills and referrals. Please plan accordingly when you are running low on your medication or require a referral to a specialty care practitioner. In addition, SCC Nurses can only facilitate referrals if you are a patient of the SCC and have been seen by one of our providers in the last year for the condition you are inquiring about. If you do not meet these requirements and need a referral, please call (773) 702-4156 to make an appointment.
