I need emergency contraception?

Emergency contraception can be purchased at the Student Care Center for $21 when the SCC is open. If you need emergency contraception at any other time, it is available over-the-counter at all pharmacies. This means that you do NOT need a prescription to purchase the medication if you are 17 years old or older.

If you are younger than 17 years old, you will require a prescription for the medication.
